How does Carnival handle errors with undelivered message and/or if Carnival is down? Is there an error message served to users?
Our platform implements a best attempt delivery logic for push notifications. If APNS or GCM return an error or are down, we will retry send the message until we succeed.
In the unlikely event of an outage, failures are exposed for any server error between a dashboard user and Carnival, or between a device and Carnival. Specifically, the platform will show error messages and the SDK will report error codes and messages where applicable.
Also, our Support Team will provide timely notifications of any incidents.
